1985 – The Los Angeles Lakers clinched the Western Conference Finals series victory after beating the Denver Nuggets in Game 5, 153-109. James Worthy led the way with 25 that night. Magic Johnson also chipped in 17 points and a whopping 19 assists as the Lakers scored the third-most points ever in a playoff game.
