The Western Conference Finals are already in full swing, and Wednesday evening the Miami Heat will host the Indiana Pacers for the first game of the Eastern Conference showdown.

The Heat have cruised in these playoffs, and have had six days rest before Wednesday’s game. Before their second-round series, the champions had a seven-day layoff, and were naturally very rusty in their first game back on the floor. Will they start the game out lethargic and allow the Pacers to get an upper hand in game 1?

Players to watch

Miami Heat - Dwyane Wade has become more of an x-factor than a superstar in these playoffs. If his knee is not bothering him, the Heat are practically impossible to beat. However, if he is not quite as mobile as he usually is, Miami could be in some trouble. It’s not really Wade himself that is the player to watch in this game, but the state of his knee.

Indiana Pacers - Lance Stephenson finished the New York Knicks series on a high note. Will he be able to create offense against Miami?

Prediction: I don’t see the Pacers winning the series, but I think they will steal game 1. The Heat have had six days off and it will take some time to shake off the rust
