2009 – With an 89-70 Los Angeles Lakers victory over the Houston Rockets in Game 7 of the second round, the Lakers won the series. After the Rockets forced the deciding game by winning the previous contest in Houston, the Lakers’ strong first half propelled them to the series victory. Pau Gasol led the way with 21 points while the highest scorer for Houston put up just 13. The Lakers went on to win their first of back-to-back championships.
