2007 – With a 111-86 Golden State Warriors victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 6, the eighth-seeded Warriors defeated the Mavericks in the first-round series. Baron Davis was one of the main reasons that Golden State won its first playoff series since 1991. In addition, both 2006 NBA Finalists (Dallas and Miami) were eliminated in the first round. The last time that happened was 1956.
