Only a few days ago, it was reported that the Milwaukee Bucks, who were swept in the first round of the playoffs, are on the lookout for a new head coach, and the likes of Stan Van Gundy and Kelvin Sampson were at the top of the team’s wish list. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, you can add Nate McMillan to that list of potential candidates.
However, McMillan has already met with the Detroit Pistons, who fired Lawrence Frank after two seasons at the helm.
McMillan is a defensive specialist. His last coaching gig was with the Portland Trail Blazers, who fired him midway through last season. He has also coached international ball, serving as the assistant coach for team USA in the 2012 Olympics.
Nate seems like a decent choice for both of these teams, especially the young and rebuilding Pistons.
