NBA Playoffs – Blake Griffin was forced to leave game 5 of the Los Angeles Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies series due to an ankle injury and was unable to return to the game.

The  Clippers are falling apart at the worst possible time. After winning the first two home games, the Clippers have slipped, dropped three games to the Grizzlies and will now face early elimination in game 6. On top of that, the team’s key players are banged up.

According to Clippers reporter Madelyn Burke, Griffin had an X-Ray on his sprained ankle which, fortunately enough, came back negative. He is scheduled to have an MRI and Vinny Del Negro has not yet ruled him out of game 6. Del Negro told the media that the team will see how Blake feels at the shootaround and as of right now he is considered day-to-day.

Chris Paul also has a minor thumb injury, but according to Burke, it will not limit him in game 6.
