Kobe Bryant Joins Lakers' Bench - Receives Standing Ovation

Sunday night Kobe Bryant decided to join his teammates and sit behind the bench, in order to support them through another embarrassing loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Naturally, he received a standing ovation.

Bryant tore his Achilles towards the end of the regular season and was not able to travel with the team. However, Kobe turned up for game 4 of the Lakers’ first-round series, which yet again proved to be a one-sided affair.

Dwight Howard had just been ejected, and Kobe showed his support by slowly making his way to L.A’s bench in his crutches.

It was certainly a nice gesture on both Kobe’s and the fans’ part, supporting the team after one of the most disappointing seasons in recent memory.
