Total Point Guard Power Ranking: Tony Parker Returns

Mar 31, 2013; San Antonio, TX, USA; San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker (9) gets fouled as he shoots as Miami Heat guard Norris Cole (left) defends during the first half at the AT

Tony Parker is back for the Spurs and back in the rankings. While March Madness has raged on, John Wall has held on to his surprisingly high ranking from last time. With the regular season wrapping up in the next few weeks, it will be fun to see if anyone can make a push to challenge Chis Paul‘s dominance of the rankings one last time.

Rank Prev Player Pts Ast Reb Stl To DRtg Win Shares TPGR Change
1 1 Chris Paul 20.1 9.7 5.4 3.0 4.0 104 0.287 32.78 None
Chris Paul continues to lead all PGs in win shares, as he is the key to everything the Clippers do.
2 4 Stephen Curry 28.3 7.0 5.0 1.5 3.5 101 0.173 32.21 +2
Averaging nearly 30ppg over the last two weeks gives Curry claim to the two spot.
3 3 John Wall 25.0 8.0 5.1 1.4 2.9 108 0.129 30.10 None
Wall is continuing to show what kind of player he can be when healthy.
4 6 Russell Westbrook 21.0 7.1 5.6 1.4 2.7 101 0.189 29.66 +2
Westbrook increased his assists again, enough to climb back into the top five.
5 5 Mike Conley 19.9 6.5 3.6 2.5 2.3 106 0.167 26.97 None
We already know about Conley’s defense, but 20 points and only 2.3 turnovers is a recipe for success on offense as well.
6 N/A Goran Dragic 19.0 10.4 4.8 1.4 4.4 107 0.105 26.97 +5
Hopefully the Suns can get him some help before #UnleashtheDragic becomes a thing
7 2 Deron Williams 20.9 7.9 2.0 1.3 2.1 115 0.164 26.38 -5
Williams defensive rating is unacceptable at 115, accounting for his five spot drop.
8 N/A Tony Parker 19.8 7.8 3.4 0.2 3.0 111 0.221 25.86 +3
Parker returns but is not quite back to where we expect him to be yet.
9 N/A Ricky Rubio 13.5 7.4 4.9 2.5 2.3 101 0.089 24.43 +2
Rubio is known for his creativity, but equally impressive is his defense.
10 N/A Kemba Walker 20.4 6.7 4.4 2.4 2.6 114 0.075 22.98 +1
Over the last two weeks, Walker has been over his season average in points and assists per game.
