LeBron James and the Miami Heat escaped Boston with a close victory, which saw them extending their illustrious winning streak.
The most talked-about play of the game was LeBron’s huge dunk over Jason Terry, and according to Washington Times, James is not shy about embarassing his opponent:
“It’s one of my better ones and the fact that it happened to J.T. makes it even that much sweeter because we all know J.T. talks too much sometimes,” James said. “I’m glad it happened to him.”
Opinions regarding the nice dunk have been mixed. Some are already ready to proclaim the slam as the dunk of the year favorite, while others are not particularly impressed with James dunking over a 6’2″ guard.
LeBron was awarded with a technical foul straight after his dunk, as he stared down Terry, who was on the floor. There is certainly some history between the two players, who met in the 2011 NBA finals, when Terry played for the Dallas Mavericks.
