Amar’e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks is set to miss six seeks of action, as he will require a knee procedure.
Stoudmire will receive a right knee debridement this week. His injury comes at a bad time, as Carmelo Anthony is still recovering from his knee injury, which he picked up after his legs tangled in a game.
Amar’e already missed a good portion of the season following a knee injury he sustained in training camp. His absence will most certainly open up more minutes for others, especially newly signed Kenyon Martin.
