The Miami Heat have an opening on the roster, as the team traded Dexter Pittman to the Memphis Grizzlies. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo, the NBA champions could sign Juwan Howard to fill the void:
After playing the past two years with the Heat, Howard has remained unsigned this season. He has stayed in shape and has been working out throughout the season.
Howard was part of last year’s championship squad, so it would make sense for the Heat to bring in a player who is already used to the surroundings. His contribution on the court would be rather minimal, but the veteran could fill the roster spot nonetheless.
