Andrew Bynum has been working to get back on the court this whole season, but after several setbacks, he has not been able to help the Philadelphia 76ers in any way.
According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Bynum has suffered another setback:
Andrew Bynum had another setback. Knee swelled up after brief work in practice last week. Said now he doesn’t know if he’ll play this year

Bynum said earlier that he hopes that he will still be able to play this season, but it is becoming increasingly unlikely that the injury-plagued center will play in a single game since being traded to the Sixers.
If Bynum indeed misses the rest of the season, Philadelphia will be facing a dilemma. The team will have to either start rebuilding from scratch, or take yet another gamble on Bynum.
