The Cleveland Cavaliers will be taking on the Chicago Bulls tonight, but will have to do so without star point guard Kyrie Irving. According to Cavs official homepage, Irving is listed day-to-day with a knee injury:

Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving is listed as OUT with a sore/hyperextended right knee for tonight’s game in Chicago against the Bulls. He is day-to-day and his status will be updated as appropriate.

The Cavs are coming off a close loss against the Miami Heat, a game in which Irving struggled. He shot 6-16 from the field, good for 17 points.

Despite the team holding a disappointing 18-38 record on the season, Irving has provided the franchise with a sense of direction and a hopeful future. In his second season he is averaging 23.3 points, 5.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
