Danny Granger has not played in a single game this season due to knee injury. He was expected to return this weekend, and according to NBC Sports, he will indeed be playing tonight against the Detroit Pistons.

The Pacers have been doing just fine without Granger, who was their leading scorer last year. Just yesterday, Indiana overtook the second seed in the Eastern Conference, pushing past the New York Knicks.

Paul George has led the Pacers this season and it will be interesting to see how he and Granger will work together. While Granger will be taking a lot of shots, which might have an impact on George’s offense, he also brings great intensity on the defensive end which will most certainly help the team.
