The Los Angeles Lakers are struggling mightily this season and a lot of the team’s key players have been subject of trade rumors. Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol have been the two most popular names thrown around the rumor mill, but according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers could look to unload some of their other contracts in return for draft picks:
Lakers offering Steve Blake, Chris Duhon, Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris for 2nd-rounders, sources say. Looking to unload, free roster spots.

While the Lakers should be looking to make a deal, it is curious that the team is looking to give away their role players for picks. Steve Blake is the second string point guard for the team, so moving him could potentially hurt the Lakers even more.
