The Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns are currently considered as the front-runners to land Josh Smith before today’s trade deadline, but according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Hawks are still looking for a way to ship the team’s best player to the Western Conference. The Houston Rockets might be interested:
Houston is still lingering in Josh Smith talks, but Atlanta’s desire for Asik and Parsons is a non-starter for Rockets, sources tell Y!

Houston is not reluctant to making deals, but the team is also very cautious. Giving up Omer Asik and especially Chandler Parsons is not something that the Rockets are willing to do. The Rockets are also set to be one of the most attractive destinations this summer and could theoretically lure Smith to Houston for free.
