The Los Angeles Clippers interest in Kevin Garnett is well documented, but it looks like the team might be looking in another direction as well.
Utah Jazz will most likely trade either Paul Millsap or Al Jefferson before the Feb. 21 trade deadline, and Millsap’s name has been the more popular one in the rumor mill.
The Brooklyn Nets have been pursuing Millsap, but according to an ESPN report, it seems that the Clippers are willing to explore a deal for Millsap as well:
Sources with knowledge of the situation told ESPN.com late Saturday that there is a level of mutual interest between the Clippers and Utah Jazz in exploring a deal that would feature Bledsoe as the headliner in a trade package for Jazz forward Paul Millsap.
The Clippers like what they have seen from Eric Bledsoe, but they also realize that the young point guard is an attractive piece to other teams. Millsap is a very capable power forward and would definitely help the Clippers in this year’s playoffs.
Mo Williams has been sidelined with injuries this season for the Utah Jazz, and adding a young player like Bledsoe to the ranks might not seem like a bad idea for the future.
