1992 – During halftime of a 114-107 Boston Celtics victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at the Great Western Forum, the Lakers retired Magic Johnson’s (@MagicJohnson) No. 32. He became only the fifth Lakers player all-time to have his jersey retired. Magic finished his career with five championships and still holds the record with 11.2 assists per game.
