The Boston Celtics can’t seem to catch a break. Leandro Barbosa is the latest name on the Celtics’ roster to be forced to sit out for the rest of this season, due to a torn ACL.

In last night’s loss to the Charlotte Bobcats, Barbosa drove the the basket and injured his knee as he planted his leg on the ground. You can watch the injury below:

According to Chris Broussard, of ESPN, sources have confirmed that Barbosa will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

This comes only two weeks after All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo was sidelined with a torn ACL himself. Rookie Jared Sullinger is also out for the season, as he will require back surgery.

The Celtics are 7-1 since Rondo got injured, but with Barbosa going down, the team will have to turn to free agency and try to repair the crippled backcourt.
