The All-Star Saturday participants will all be revealed tonight on TNT. Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley will be drafting their teams for the Rising Stars challenge and we will also find out which players will be highlighting the weekend’s other events, including the Sears Shooting Stars, the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, the Taco Bills Skills Challenge and of course the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

According to Chris Tomasson, of FOX Sports, Houston Rockets legend and Hall of Famer, Hakeem Olajuwon, will be judging the Slam Dunk contest:

Hakeem Olajuwon told me he will serve as a judge for the slam-dunk contest in Houston on All-Star Saturday Night.
“In my career, we used to sit on the side and watch,’’ Olajuwon said of watching the dunk contests during All-Star Games in which he played. “Of course, everybody had their own (opinion) on the points. So I think it will fun.’’

The All-Star weekend will contain a great amount of entertainment value for the fans, and it is great to see that the legendary “Akeem The Dream” will also take part of the festivities.
