Rudy Gay’s debut in Toronto last night could not have been any better.
The Air Canada Centre was packed in excitement to watch their newest Raptor, and he certainly didn’t disappoint.
Gay came off the bench to score 20 points, as the Raptors took advantage of Chris Paul’s absence to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers 98-73.
In the coming games, Gay will most likely move into the starting lineup as the Raptors try to make a late push for a playoff spot. Sitting 6 and ½ games back of the 8th seed, it is unlikely, but not impossible.
