With Rajon Rondo out for the season, the Boston Celtics are left without a true point guard on the roster. While the team does have some backcourt depth, adding another backcourt player remains a possibility.
According to a CSNNE.com report, Keyon Dooling would definitely consider making a comeback if Doc Rivers wants him:
“I’m definitely considering,” Dooling told CSNNE.com Tuesday evening. “I’ve upped my exercise starting today and if Doc (Rivers) gives me the word I will be ready.”
Dooling retired this summer, after sharing his horrible story of being abused as a child. However, he stayed with the Celtics organization, acting as a player development coordinator.
He has played for 6 different teams in his 12-year career, spending the 2011-12 season with the Boston Celtics.
