Kyrie Irving is just coming off his first All-Star nomination of his career, and has put together a string of impressive performances. Irving, who is averaging 35.7 points in his last 3 games, decided to put on another show for the fans in Toronto last night.

With the Cavaliers trailing the Raptors by 2 points, with 12.6 seconds to go, Irving received the inbound pass, looked down at the floor to take a deep breath and slowly walked the ball up over half-court. He sized up Alan Anderson, who was firmly planted a step over the three-point line. Irving rose up to shoot the deep three and, well, the rest is history.

The only thing that went through the mind of Kyrie Irving when he saw the ball go through the net was this:

“Let’s get out of Toronto. Let’s go home fellas. That’s all I was thinking.”

- Kyrie Irving
