On This Date in NBA History: January 25, Michael Jordan Led All Players in All-Star Votes

1998 – For an NBA-record ninth time in his career, Michael Jordan led all players in All-Star Game votes. In addition, Kobe Bryant became the youngest starter in NBA All-Star Game history. Jordan was the eventual MVP of the game on February 8th in a 135-114 Eastern Conference win.
