2000 – In a 99-91 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Dallas Mavericks head coach Don Nelson won his 900^th career game. He now has 1,335 victories, the most in NBA history. Lenny Wilkens has the second-most wins (1,332) and George Karl has the most among active head coaches (1,099).
