2000 – In a 99-91 victory over the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Dallas Mavericks head coach Don Nelson won his 900th career game. He now has 1,335 victories, the most in NBA history. Lenny Wilkens has the second-most wins (1,332) and George Karl has the most among active head coaches (1,099).
