Pau Gasol is ready to make his return tonight, almost two weeks after sustaining a concussion against the Denver Nuggets.

According to the Los Angeles Lakers’ official twitter page, Gasol will play tonight against the Miami Heat, however he will not be in the starting lineup.

Gasol has struggled thus far this year, averaging just 12 points a game, by far the lowest mark of his career.

Despite his poor numbers to start the season, the Lakers will be happy to have Gasol back. Sitting at 17-21 and looking up at the playoffs, the Lakers need all the help they can get as they try to make a playoff push in the second half of the season.
