Phil Jackson done with coaching

He nearly came back to once again patrol the Los Angeles Lakers sideline.

It was only fitting that when the Brooklyn Nets job opened up, he was linked to that too.

But it appears that the coach with more championships than any other will not be making a return.

In a brief statement to SheridanHoops.com, Phil Jackson had this to say:

I have no intention of ever coaching again.

Interestingly enough, Jackson does not make mention of whether or not he’d be open to a front office role.

Perhaps he isn’t done with the NBA.
