Pau Gasol was examined today, but has not yet been cleared to play. Gasol suffered a concussion in the game against the Denver Nuggets, after catching JaVale McGee’s elbow to his face.
Concussions are always taken seriously in the NBA, and the Lakers must follow league protocol before Gasol can be reinstated.
Gasol will go through another evaluation on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Lakers face a tough challenge in Houston tonight, as the struggling team will have to play without Dwight Howard, Jordan Hill and Gasol.
