While some of the sideline entertainment can provide hilarious videos, they can also be the reason for player’s injuries.

Take Thursday night, for example, when San Antonio Spurs forward Stephen Jackson attempted a three-point shot, step backward and sprained his ankle while tripping over a waitress.

The waitress was just doing her job, serving New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, but this example proves yet again that the NBA is a spectacle.

Sideline entertainment and photographers placed just feet from the out-of-bounds area have caused numerous injuries and the fact that Jackson can’t follow through with his shot without toppling over a waitress is outrageous.
