After Steve Nash fractured his leg on November 1st against the Portland Trail Blazers, the injury was only expected to keep him out for about a week.
However, Nash is yet to play since the injury, and the Lakers have struggled to an 11-14 record.
The point guard position has been a disaster for the Lakers this season. Chris Duhon and Darius Morris have gotten the majority of the minutes with Nash, and then later Steve Blake, going down injured.
According to sources, however, the Lakers’ point guard nightmare may be over soon.

The upcoming stretch will be tough for the Lakers, with games against the Warriors, Knicks, Clippers, Nuggets (2x), Spurs, and Thunder. A few big wins against some of the top teams in the Western Conference would be huge for the Lakers.
If Nash does indeed return on Saturday, he could provide the boost the Lakers need to get over their poor start.
