Even though it went late into the night, last night’s game between the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs was worth staying up for.
The Jazz put their great home record (9-1) on the line against the resolute Spurs. It took a deep three by Mo Williams at the buzzer to get the job done, but Utah got a huge victory.
If it weren’t for the play of Manu Ginobili, however, the game might have been decided earlier. While he didn’t have a great game, he was very solid, providing 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. In the middle of the fourth quarter, Ginobili added another slick pass to his highlight reel. After setting a pick for Ginobili, Tiago Splitter rolled to the basket, where Ginobili found him with a bounce pass between the legs of Derrick Favors.
