The league continues to punish floppers, and two additional players have now received warnings.
First up, we have Zaza Pachulia, of the Atlanta Hawks. Pachulia has been warned for violating the anti-flopping rule during the Hawks v Wizards game, on Dec. 7.
Kevin Seraphin, of the Washington Wizards, grabbed the ball in the paint, with Pachulia trying to put pressure on him. Attempting to create some space, Seraphin threw his elbows in the air in such ferocious fashion, that once Pachulia was hit by the air-wave, he uttered a loud scream and was blasted backwards. You can watch the video of the flop here.
The second warning goes to Omer Asik, of the Houston Rockets. Asik violated the rule on Dec. 10 against the San Antonio Spurs.
While battling for a rebound with Tim Duncan, Asik was hit in the chest by Duncan’s elbow. Realizing that the ball was out of reach, Asik helplessly flailed his arms in the air and fell to the ground, resulting in a Tim Duncan foul. You can watch the video here.
