San Antonio Spurs: League Reaction to Stephen Jackson's Tweets On Serge Ibaka

Stephen Jackson was a little frustrated with the way things went down when the San Antonio Spurs matched up with Serge Ibaka and the Oklahoma City Thunder Friday night.

According to SLAM! Online, Jackson had a few choice words for Ibaka.

Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That’s a promise. He doin 2 much.

Jackson apologized for the tweet, but it wasn’t enough to sidestep action for the NBA office and a warning from the Spurs organization.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the league fined Jackson $25,000 for the comments and the Spurs promised to fine him if he took action on Ibaka.
