1989 – Happy 23rd birthday to Los Angeles Clippers backup point guard Eric Bledsoe (@EBled24) who is in his third NBA season. He had a strong 2010-11 season when he was named to the All-Rookie Second Team and now is a scoring threat off the bench for the Clippers.

1987 – Happy 25th birthday to Charlotte Bobcats SG/SF Gerald Henderson (@GhJr09) who is in his fourth NBA season. His father, Gerald Henderson, Sr. was a three-time NBA champion during his 13-year career. Gerald Henderson, Jr. has improved his scoring average over his first three seasons. He is now rounding into shape with some impressive performances after a foot injury forced him to miss most of the November games of the 2012-13 season.


1953 – Happy 59th birthday to retired NBA guard World B. Free, born Lloyd Bernard Free, who played 13 seasons in the league. While playing for the San Diego Clippers, he was selected to the 1980 All-Star Game and led all players in free throws made in two different seasons. In addition, Free’s 20.3 points per game average is the 50th best in NBA history.
