Rajon Rondo has been in the headlines recently for his streak of consecutive games with 10+ assists.

Rondo’s streak came to an end tonight against the Brooklyn Nets, after he was ejected for initiating a fight late in the first half. The game up until the fight had been dominated by the Nets, who led by 21 at one point.

With under a minute left in the second quarter, Kevin Garnett took a fairly hard foul from Kris Humphries. Rondo, who was most likely frustrated with the way the game was going, took offense to the foul and went after Humphries. He shoved him into the stands behind Boston’s basket and a scrum ensued.

In the aftermath, Rondo, Humphries and Gerald Wallce were ejected. Garnett was given a technical for his part.
