Stu Jackson, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations, announced today that Aaron Brooks, of Sacramento Kings, has been fined $25,000, for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands.

The incident happed on Nov. 23, after the Kings lost to Utah. As the game was tied at 102, Brooks drove to the basket, but was stripped by Jamaal Tinsley. Brooks was clearly upset for not getting the foul call and his emotions tipped over after Gordon Hayward hit the game winning jumper on the other end.

Brooks failed to keep his composure and threw his mouthpiece into the stands, which has now turned out to cost him $25,000. Evidently, the league will not tolerate this kind of behaviour.

Due to the lockout season Aaron Brooks spent his 2011-12 season in China. He was picked up by the Kings in this off-season and is averaging 8 points and 2 assists per game.
