Miami Heat vs Los Angeles Clippers Preseason Game Review 10/14/2012

The Miami Heat were on the floor again in China against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Miami Heat

In the previous preseaon game on Thursday in China, the Heat won easily against the Clippers. LeBron James played well and scored  20 points in the game and also had 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwyane Wade was not ready for the season and he had only 5 points. Wade did not have his offensive rhythm in the game but his defense was solid against the Clippers’ guards. Ray Allen scored 15 points and showed Heat fans how important he is for the Heat roster this season. Ray Allen`s fast break 3 pointers are going to be a key weapon for Heat offense in the upcoming season.

Sunday`s game looked totally different than the Thursday game. The Clippers were hungry for the game and would not let the Heat have any easy buckets. Wade only played 8 minutes in this game and he did not seem well. LeBron James played 2o minutes and scored 11 points. He did not push himself in the game. The Heat used their rotation players in the game and the reserves were not good enough to compete against the Clippers.

Los Angeles Clippers: Title is not far away

This off season was the year of the city of Los Angeles. The Clippers made many moves in the offseason to build a real contender. Jamal Crawford is in perfect condition now and he scored 15 points against the Heat. Crawford is going to be the key 6th man for the Clippers in the upcoming season. In my opinion he will win the 6th Man of the Year Award. They also added Lamar Odom and Grant Hill to their squad which will give them flexibility on the rotation.

When you look at the Clippers squad they are more than ready for the season. They have the NBA`s best point guard Chris Paul and the best veteran guard Chauncey Billups. Eric Bledsoe, Caron Butler, Grant Hill and Jamal Crawford are going to be their biggest threats against their opponents.

The only question is chemistry?

Rather than Chris Paul, Billups should take responsibility in the team to create the perfect combination for this amazing roster. Grant Hill can also be their leader when Billups is on the bench. The correct organization of this roster will allow them to play in West Finals for sure. They have more than enough to compete against the Lakers and Thunder this year.
