News broke a few days ago that Eddy Curry had a workout scheduled with the Brooklyn Nets … (say what?!).
Curry, who spent some time with the Heat last season, finished off the year by slipping a championship ring on his finger.
At just age 29, Curry should still have some gas in the tank. I firmly believe that Eddy can make an impact on an NBA team and get back to a high level playing for him. The thing about big men in this league is that they can play at older ages and still be effective.
If Curry can lose a substantial amount of weight, get in-shape, get back in the groove and get his mind right, I wouldn’t put it past this guy to be able to start or even be a heavy minute backup for somebody. There’s no timetable as of now in regards whether or not the Nets will pickup Curry. I think they should, do you?
