Imagine watching highlights from a Los Angeles Lakers game with no mention of Kobe Bryant. Well, it’s a reality as former Cavaliers guard Ramon Sessions thrived in his first start as a Laker. Head coach Mike Brown, who also spent time coaching with the Cavaliers during the LeBron era, decided to start Sessions in his fifth game in Los Angles since being traded from Cleveland.
Sessions recorded a double-double in the start, as he scored 20 points and tallied 11 assists in his 36 minutes of play. He shot 6-10 from the field and 6-8 from the free-throw line.
The Lakers also won the game against the Portland Trail Blazer 103-96 on Friday night.
