Manny Harris Likely To Return To Cavaliers

It seems almost inevitable.  But the signs seem to indicate that the Cavaliers will be bringing guard Manny Harris back from the Canton Charge.

Injuries at the guard position are partly to blame.  So is the release of Mychal Thompson.  But the rumors of a trade involving Ramon Sessions could be the bigger cause.  Harris can play point guard and has proven in Canton that he can score.  He’s averaging 18.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists a game.  What I love about him is that he can attack the basket.  So many times I think the Cavs settle for jump shots.

Of course, the Cavaliers may fill the open roster spot previously held by Thompson.  The Cavs still acquire players, but I really don’t know who they would bring in.  Considering they are interested primary in acquiring some draft picks for the 2012 draft.  But I would hope that Harris gets a chance.  He has played his heart out at Canton is really worth a look.
