LeBron’s seemingly never-ending relationship with the NFL and football as a whole rolls on, as the well known Cowboys fan vented his anger over Twitter, stating the Cowboys froze out their own kicker. “Somebody tell me why we would call TO on our own kicker! Ice our own guy! Unsurprisingly, LeBron James attended the Ohio State vs Duke showdown in Ohio earlier this week. James has always been a fan of the university, was likely to attend there if he did not bypass college and has been training with the football and basketball teams during the lockout. Even more unsurprisingly, James was booed by the home crowd. James was sitting court side with buddy and teammate Dwyane Wade, and both were received “hearty boos” (Cleveland Plain Dealer) as they walked to their seats. I think Hugh Douglas has had a bit of an embarrassing moment. I would go further to say he had an extremely stupid and overwhelmingly ignorant moment. The ESPN NFL analyst recently hammered LeBron James over the leaked video of his touchdown celebration of a pick six in his recent flag football match against Kevin Durant. Steve Johnson has gone from hero to villain the past week, proceeding to mock Plaxico Burress when the Bills and Jets played in New York last weekend. To no one’s real surprise, LeBron James and his team aptly named ‘Team Bron’ downed Kevin Durant and his team 70-63. No it was not the Patriots vs Packers, although the score might suggest is was completely defense-less, the game was said to be of great excitement and we saw plenty of both superstars. The NBA players involved were asked to sign a waiver before the game, pushing those watching to the very edge of their seats in hope that neither James, nor Durant would suffer an injury that would put prolong their basketball-less breaks.
