Game Balls and Laps : Game 2

Game balls and Laps

The Cavs had an excellent performance against the Pistons. So here are the game balls, as well as laps for certain aspects of the game.

Game Balls

Tristan Thompson – Once again, Thompson had an excellent game. It should not be long before he finds himself in the starting lineup.

Samardo Samuels – A great season debut for Samuels. He was aggressive on both ends of the floor. He will be a key piece to the bench bunch going forward.

Ramon Sessions – Sessions will also be a big piece of the bench bunch. In the first two games this season, the bench has been electric. And he has been a big part of it.

Cavalier Turnovers – As good as the game was overall, the Cavs committed way too many turnovers. They need to take better care of the basketball going forward.

Antawn Jamison – I’m still going to call out Jamison. Yes he had a good night on offense and he made a few nice plays on the defensive side. But the Cavaliers need consistent effort on defense. I saw several occasions where Jamison played little or no defense. The Pistons game was better. But he needs to keep toughen up at the defensive end.
