I’ll admit, the title sells this as much more of a deal than it actually is, but in saying that it is 100% the truth.
LeBron James is currently on his second visit to England in two months, this time stopping off in London and some of the other cities he missed upon his last business/pleasure trip to see Liverpool FC.
He was asked the seemingly inevitable question pitched to him at every recreational interview of non major American journalists, whether he would beat Kobe Bryant in a game of 1 vs 1.
He handled the question very well and probably couldn’t have offered a better answer.
There really isn’t anyone that can argue, nor be unhappy with what he said.
Obviously there is still the huge cult following of Kobe Bryant out there, all of whom are still in a massive coma of denial as they still believe Kobe Bryant is the best player in the game, who will be outraged over the mere notion that Le(insert childish insult here) has offered such a statement, but it’s probably safe to say you won’t find too many of them here on the King James Gospel, and if they are, well, it seems you are one of the many million who jumped aboard the LBJ hate bandwagon, when they are really in the closet about their love for The King.
26 year old LeBron James or 33 year old Kobe Bryant?
It’s not even a debate.
A more thought provoking question would be LeBron James in his prime or Kobe Bryant in his prime?
That is something we cannot answer yet, because LeBron James is only just about to enter his.
