LeBron James Listing NFL Teams?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Following the crazy outburst of two days ago when LeBron James seemed to be hinting at the possibility of him joining the NFL was real, he followed that up by tweeting the names of 5 NFL teams: “Cowboys, Dolphins, Browns, Lions, 49ers……..27 more teams. Who?” We know the Dallas Cowboys are LeBron’s team, obviously the Dolphins make geographic sense and he has flirted with the Browns in the past as they are his home town team. The fact those three teams were mentioned is a pretty good indication these are James’ ideal teams. That won’t please Pete Carroll who spent [...]

LeBron James to Attend Manchester United vs Liverpool

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

As is now common knowledge, LeBron James became a minority owner of Liverpool FC, perhaps England’s greatest club football (soccer for all you yanks) team in April this year. James’ new association with the Fenway Sports Group, headed by John Henry who not only owns Liverpool FC, but also the Red Sox, led him to buy shares in the football team. The English Premier League aligns almost exactly with that of the NBA season, previously making it impossible for LeBron to head to Anfield to watch a game. This is one of the very few good things that has emerged [...]

LeBron James Set to Join the NFL? Seattle Seahawks?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 6 Comments

Whilst it is probably just a tantalizing flirtation between LeBron James and the NFL, personally I cannot help but to be caught up in it all. Only a few days ago I wrote something on the possibility of The King joining the NFL in what has been a conversational piece for many, many years. To add to the personal excitement for myself is that not only might I be seeing my favourite athlete performing in the near future, and in a truly exceptional sport that could catapult him to a level unreached by any athlete perhaps in history, but my [...]

Nike Says LeBron James Has the ‘Heart of a Lion’

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Nike and LeBron James have come up with a new logo to represent the LeBron James line of apparel. Previous it was that crazy LBJ23 logo that was a bit of a mess and something I didn’t really like. Nike though have really gotten classy with this one, introducing the new James logo as the famous coat of arms representing a lion more commonly associated with English monarchs. James has a tattoo of a lion to exemplify pride. The new line features the line to identify that LeBron ‘has the heat of a lion’. The caption for the new logo [...]

LeBron James’ New Shoes With an Air Force Theme

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

LeBron James is paying tribute to the armed forces with his new range of shoes. The Miami Heat held their first training camp at Hurlburt Field and Eglin Air Force Base before last season as they wanted to install a mentality of hard work and commitment into arguably America’s most hated new team. James decided it be a valid salute to the armed forces to release a series of shoes with the colours associated with the men and women that keep the free world free. I like them. Could definitely see troops running through the Middle East clunking around in these. [...]

Dan Gilbert Exploiting LeBron James Yet Again

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Dan Gilbert is at it again, as he seems to be one of the main reasons Cleveland have been unable to move on from the LeBron James era. The bitterness of the man is unfathomable. His lack of class and respect is truly embarrassing. Somehow after writing a hate filled, ridiculously immature letter to the public in the now infamous font ‘comic sans’, Dan Gilbert prevailed as the bigger man as he was overshadowed by LeBron James’ The Decision. This is coming from a Cleveland Cavaliers fan. I do not like the guy at all, if he had done a [...]

LeBron James Ranked Sport’s Most Influential African American

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

LeBron James has another title to add to the novel that is his biography, as TheRoot.com and their list of the 100 Most Influential African Americans of 2011 listed LeBron James as the highest ranked athlete, and only one of two on the entire list. James came in at no.36, where his only other fellow athlete, Serena Williams ranked in at no.41. James has had by far the most difficult year of his life, at least professionally, but there is no doubting his multi talented and multi tasking operations that supersede his basketball have him as a truly influential member [...]

LeBron James to Join the NFL during NBA Lockout?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

No. It sadly won’t happen, but MAN how cool would that be?! Although as he always does James left the possibility somewhat open. A few days ago LeBron James headed back to his old high school, where he is a constant contributor, and shocked the hell out of the school’s football team when he rocked up for their full padded practice with starting positions on the line, incase impressing LeBron wasn’t enough. James borrowed the full pads and gear from Clayton Uecker who stands at 6’5, the tallest player on the team. And no LeBron didn’t force him to miss training, [...]

Scottie Pippen Does Not Regret Comments, Holds Opinion that LeBron James Will Be Better Than Michael Jordan

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Perhaps Scottie didn’t receive the letter bomb Michael Jordan sent him the first time round. Pippen created one of the biggest off court stirs of all time earlier this year when he announced LeBron James could very well knock off Michael Jordan as the greatest player of all time. To say the majority of the NBA universe, particularly Kobe fans, took it badly is like saying the lockout promotes greed and selfishness. A complete and utter understatement. Nonetheless Jordan’s right hand man for all 6 of those championships has not gone back on his highly encompassing and controversial words. “‘My [...]

Miami to Host Pre Season All Star Game featuring LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony and more

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Last year it was the pre season party of a lifetime as the Miami Heat celebrated the greatest free agency coup in the history of American professional sport. The distasteful event could have been mistaken for a championship celebration, but no one can doubt that they love to go big in Miami. This year they are going a little smaller, but not much smaller, with the announcement of the South Florida All Star Classic being played at the Florida International. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are reported to be the masterminds behind this fantastic creation and the reason for it’s [...]
