NBA Lockout Resolution Date Anyone?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser seem to think early to mid February will be the time these selfish, greedy pigs that are the NBPA and NBA Owners/Commissioner find a deal. People will lose too much money, egos will take too greater hits and statistics will go to waste. Sadly these are three biggest fears for the people involved. We do not matter to them, despite what they will have you believe. Many choose to see the glass half full and think their will be no season. I am not so negative. The NBA is one of the few sports in [...]

NBA 2K12 Explain Why They Rate LeBron James Higher Than Kobe Bryant

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

Apparently 2K Sports are completely spineless and give into to ridiculous hysteria to provide unnecessary reasoning as to why LeBron James is rated higher than Kobe Bryant in NBA 2K12. It would appear that there is a considerable amount of people that are outraged that 2K Sports have given LeBron a superior rating and were demanding an answer as to why this was the case. If people actually cannot understand why a video game company has given 26 year old LeBron James who just came off a Finals appearance a greater rating than 33 year old Kobe Bryant who was [...]

James Shakes Off The Decision Criticism Because ‘It’s Helped the Kids’

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

The much maligned television special that was LeBron James’ ‘The Decision’ has become the butt of many jokes and elevated the King to a level of infamy never before seen and still not fully understood. Whilst a lot were bitter James did not stay with or join their favourite team, the central argument for everyone’s hatred seemed to stem from the spectacle he made over seemingly selling out his former team on international TV. Let’s not get into this argument again. James, ever Mr Positivity, continues to stick to his decision to make The Decision (see what I did there). [...]

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Their Children in a True Kodak Moment

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Earlier today LeBron James tweeted one of the nicest photos I have seen involving a professional athlete. The photo was taken at some Nickolodeon event, featuring LeBron James, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. With the three NBA gods stood their five sons. Wade’s two sons Zaire and Zion, James’ sons LeBron jnr and Bryce and Paul’s son Chris II contrasting the slightly annoyed looks on their father’s faces with brilliant smiles. Definitely a Kodak moment. You can definitely tell whose children are whose, especially the two little Wades who are spitting images of their father. We could be looking at [...]

LeBron James Continues to Make Fun of Himself, Slowly Improve Image?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

The first thing people will say is LeBron James doesn’t want to be a villain, he is trying to be the hero again. To that I say stop watching the WWE. James has made a couple of interesting advertisements addressing some of the controversial things he has said and done throughout his career. The most notable was his Nike commercial that asked the public; ‘What should I do?’ The most recent example was his latest commercial for McDonalds. Much different from his and Dwight Howard’s remake of the classic Jordan and Bird game of HORSE, James seems to make fun [...]

Colts, Peyton Manning Faking/Tanking for Andrew Luck?

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

Throughout the locked out summer we heard nothing but positives about Peyton’s surgery, his rehab and his confidence that he would be ready for the start of the season. Before the season started the Colts went out and signed Kerry Collins, which at least to me straight away signalled Manning would not be playing in week 1. I was right. Manning has been no where to be seen or heard since it was announced he would not be playing and there are fears his season and even his career may be over. Whilst I find the latter hard to believe, [...]

Charles Barkley Gives LeBron James Some Advice

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

Charles Barkley is one of the loudest NBA analysts in media and known for being a fairly harsh critic of LeBron James, despite calling him the best in the world. Barkley has taken plenty of shots at the King, mocking his many nicknames and sometimes failures in the clutch. Nonetheless Barkley recently offered some advice to the man who has taken his honour as the best to never win a ring. “Stop taking himself so seriously. He’s a great, great player. He’s a really good dude. I would ask him to go and talk to Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan … [...]

LeBron James is Better Than Kobe Bryant…Says NBA 2K12

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 5 Comments

NBA 2K12, the superior basketball video game, has confirmed what we have all known for a long time, something many have refused to believe but deep down known was true, that LeBron James is better than Kobe Bryant. 2k12′s Facebook page released two screen shots of the game, showing LeBron James with a rating of 98 whereas Kobe Bryant was just a measly 94. Perhaps even more astonishing was the fact both were rated 97 in 2K11 (I guess the 2K Sports people really went hard on Kobe being swept) and the fact Dwyane Wade too is in one of [...]

LeBron James in Boys and Girls Club Advertisement

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: None Yet

LeBron James is just one of several big names including Ron Howard, Denzel Washington and Ashanti participating in a Washington DC  launch of a Public Service Advertising campaign for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. James famously used the club as the designated charity for the infamous ‘The Decision’ in the summer of 2009, and is continuing his work for a charity that is very close to his heart. People constantly give LeBron James a WWE storyline, saying he has become a villain since his moved to Miami but is trying to work a more hero persona back into his [...]

The Game Cheap Shots LeBron James

AUTHOR: | IN: LeBron James | COMMENTS: 3 Comments

It is not uncommon to see music artists, particularly rappers, get involved in sporting politics. The Game is the latest of these and the second this summer to take a shot at LeBron James following Young Jeezy featuring Jason Terry’s attempt to belittle the game’s greatest player. The Game’s latest album, The R.E.D. Album, takes several shots at the King. “Fall back like LeBron’s hairline against the Mavericks. … You lost.” That’s just one of the few sprinkled throughout the CD. I say CD even though no one buys them, not just because The Game is just not that good, [...]
