Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser seem to think early to mid February will be the time these selfish, greedy pigs that are the NBPA and NBA Owners/Commissioner find a deal. Apparently 2K Sports are completely spineless and give into to ridiculous hysteria to provide unnecessary reasoning as to why LeBron James is rated higher than Kobe Bryant in NBA 2K12. It would appear that there is a considerable amount of people that are outraged that 2K Sports have given LeBron a superior rating and were demanding an answer as to why this was the case. The much maligned television special that was LeBron James’ ‘The Decision’ has become the butt of many jokes and elevated the King to a level of infamy never before seen and still not fully understood. Whilst a lot were bitter James did not stay with or join their favourite team, the central argument for everyone’s hatred seemed to stem from the spectacle he made over seemingly selling out his former team on international TV. Earlier today LeBron James tweeted one of the nicest photos I have seen involving a professional athlete. The photo was taken at some Nickolodeon event, featuring LeBron James, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. With the three NBA gods stood their five sons. Wade’s two sons Zaire and Zion, James’ sons LeBron jnr and Bryce and Paul’s son Chris II contrasting the slightly annoyed looks on their father’s faces with brilliant smiles. The first thing people will say is LeBron James doesn’t want to be a villain, he is trying to be the hero again. To that I say stop watching the WWE. James has made a couple of interesting advertisements addressing some of the controversial things he has said and done throughout his career. The most notable was his Nike commercial that asked the public; ‘What should I do?’ The most recent example was his latest commercial for McDonalds. Throughout the locked out summer we heard nothing but positives about Peyton’s surgery, his rehab and his confidence that he would be ready for the start of the season. Before the season started the Colts went out and signed Kerry Collins, which at least to me straight away signalled Manning would not be playing in week 1. I was right. Charles Barkley is one of the loudest NBA analysts in media and known for being a fairly harsh critic of LeBron James, despite calling him the best in the world. Barkley has taken plenty of shots at the King, mocking his many nicknames and sometimes failures in the clutch. NBA 2K12, the superior basketball video game, has confirmed what we have all known for a long time, something many have refused to believe but deep down known was true, that LeBron James is better than Kobe Bryant. 2k12′s Facebook page released two screen shots of the game, showing LeBron James with a rating of 98 whereas Kobe Bryant was just a measly 94. LeBron James is just one of several big names including Ron Howard, Denzel Washington and Ashanti participating in a Washington DC  launch of a Public Service Advertising campaign for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. James famously used the club as the designated charity for the infamous ‘The Decision’ in the summer of 2009, and is continuing his work for a charity that is very close to his heart. It is not uncommon to see music artists, particularly rappers, get involved in sporting politics.
