No Talks Of Overseas Hoops For Cleveland Cavaliers Players

Fans have heard of almost every player with an ounce of starpower running through their veins heading overseas.

From Kobe Bryant in Turkey to Kevin Durant in China, the wheels are spinning in the league about the players who keep considering overseas play an option about those like Deron Williams who have already inked a deal. Some of the only players you have not heard of making that move would be the Cleveland Cavaliers. None of these men have been quoted saying that they would consider overseas job opportunities.

Why is that?

Maybe it is because no overseas team wants to lay out their best hand for someone they feel is not worth it. The Cavaliers have well-seasoned players without a doubt. However, they do not hold a candle to any of the men speculated to heavily consider overseas employment.

The squad averaged 95.5 points, ranked 25th in the league, with one of the two players scheduled to be paid more than eight million dollars being a 32-year old point guard with loose knees. I can see a little bit into overseas franchises’ reasoning for not seeking out the services of any Cavaliers.

Unless, I hear tales of conversations between Kyrie Irving, Tristan Thompson and a foreign league, I will remain strong in my belief that Cleveland players will be forced to find other avenues of income such as appearances, their girlfriends’ or wives’ income or odd jobs.
