Kyrie Irving Learning A Hard Lesson

After so many cases where superstar athletes have been disgraced by the presence of some of these types of women, you would assume the younger stars would learn from their veteran peers. Unfortunately, there is a not a big enough star to hold the volume of that type of wish. Kyrie Irving, even though his career in the league has yet to move past a jersey number and a handshake from David Stern, has been experiencing the ins and outs of dealing with someone who seems to be using his name for fame.

Jessica Jackson bka Miss Hawaii is not the first young woman to pull a player’s card and will not be the last. There is no use in blaming her for it. Cruising social networks looking for someone to bed comes with consequences; one of those consequences being that you do not know what this person truly looks like until you or they become too enthralled in the net relationship. After that the stalking and the refusal to let go trails not too far behind. Don’t we see enough of that in the general population without dragging it through the latest sports gossip headlines?

Filing a police report against Ms. Jackson is the first step to him moving on, but the problem lies in the question, “Will she do the same?”

This is a lesson to all those just now being recruited to college or Irving’s peers entering the league with all of the girls and cameras lined up outside of their hotel room. Focus on what got you here, not what perks you get on your way.
