Getting ready for All Star

The Heat headed into Indiana Tuesday night to take on a team 7-1 under their new coach. Normally a Heat Pacers game wouldn’t attract too much attention, but with Vogul getting the most out of his up and comers, the match posed more of a threat for Miami. That was until Dwyane Wade decided to score 41.

Wade finished with 41 and 12 rebounds, proving to be almost un-guardable at times as he effortlessly cut to the rim. It was the Dwyane Wade that has established himself as one of the top 3 players in the game, the Dwyane Wade that almost single handedly took over the 2006 Finals to give Miami their first championship.

James and Bosh both chipped in with 27 and 22 respectively, as the Big 3 notched up 90 of the 110 points themselves.

The Heat flew out to a 41-19 first quarter leader, but the Pacers fans and three point shooting brought them back into the game with a series of runs that saw them take the lead on the buzzer of the third quarter. From there James and Wade took over and finished Indiana off in a close out victory that have been rare for the Heat so far this year.

The game will be remember mostly for two individual plays. One was a piece of LeBron James magic, a pump fake and an alley oop to himself from the free throw line. Clearly he was getting ready for the All Star game.

The second was a play we saw several times just over a week ago, although he was wearing No.12, and the jersey was a little more green. Wade dropping back into the pocket and finding James streaking down field for a 90ft touch down reception. The All Star game is going to be fun.
