Make That 25 Straight

C’mon, you didn’t really think they were going to win. Did you?

That was the Cleveland way, folks. It’s the Cleveland way to play just good enough to keep the game within reach. To tease us fans. And then rip our hearts out. Again. But we should be used to it by now. Like I said, it’s the Cleveland way.

After starting the season with a promising 7-9 record, Cleveland has completely fallen apart and won just one game in its last 35 tries. One game! And nearly 25 of those losses have come in the form of a good old fashioned butt kickin’. It’s ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. And it’s miserable to have to sit and watch, night in and night out.

I keep saying this, but it isn’t a lack of heart or desire on the part of the Cavaliers. They are very young and, for the most part, very untalented. The veterans don’t play a lick of defense but that is a completely different issue.

Cleveland is getting very solid performances from Ramon Sessions and have seemingly found their point guard of the future. Sessions went for 19 points and 13 assists last night to continue his incredibly strong play as of late. But he has really been the one consistent bright spot for this team over the last month or so.

There isn’t a whole lot more to say. Just keep counting down the days until the NBA Draft. And until this nightmare is finally over.

Cheers, Cleveland.

The streak has to end at 25, Cody. The Cavs have been so close the last few games, and this is the perfect spot for them to beat an inconsistent team like the Pistons.

I agree, Blake. The Pistons and then the Clippers & Wizards should be at least two wins. Get this team back on track.
