5 straight

Miami extended its winning streak to 5 games tonight, defeating a spirited Bobcats team in front of a sell out crowd that included Michael Jordan. Jordan was warming up with his team before the game, but it wasn’t enough to inspire Charlotte as Wade recorded his first triple double of the year with 25 points 12 rebounds and 10 assists. James had a night off following his 51 point near triple double in Orlando, scoring 19 points and 9 assists.

Miami have a busy schedule in the lead up to the All Star break and will want to ensure it keeps its momentum away from home if they have any hopes of catching San Antonio for the no.1 seed throughout the playoffs. The first step is knocking Boston off the top.

Kidd gave them a head start today.
